Annita has been training leaders around the world for over 20 years conducting workshops in Cultural Awareness, International Protocol, Leadership Development, Team Building, Multicultural Customer Service and Performance Management.

Annita is owner and senior consultant of the Thomas Center for six years.  As an interculturalist, she has studied theorists and researched cultural issues for clients and as part of an advance degree in Intercultural Relations.  She is a candidate for a Masters of Intercultural Relations from the University of the Pacific, in California.

Her specialty is training and working in multicultural environments such as:  Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Puerto Rico, Japan, Kenya, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan, and The Netherlands.  Leading up to and during the 1996 Centennial Olympics, she wrote a book on International Protocol which she discussed during an interview on the NBC Today Show, EXTRA and various panels.

Doc Bill, our senior consultant specializing in the study of food and culture.  After completing his fellowship in Neuropathology, Clinical and Anatomical Pathology at Emory University in Atlanta, Bill started an adventure in studying the foods, culture and indigenous plants of the southern region of the Appalachian Mountains.  He wrote a cookbook featuring recipes both traditional and gourmet, using indigenous plants and animals of the region.  He also edited the first cookbook written by a Cherokee featuring Indianlore, culture and traditional recipes.  His interest in the diverse regions of Georgia, inspired him to co-author a cookbook featuring traditional and gourmet Gullah recipes from the Georgia coast. 

Bill has taught Cherokee and Appalachia cooking at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina.  He received his BS degree from Georgia Washington University and his MD degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. 

Bill has researched extensively indigenous plants and food maps of the world and speaks to audiences about the connection between food, culture and mythology.  He conducts our workshop on Culture, Food and Mythology.

Marjorie has over 30 years of experience working with teachers and youth.  This experience has given her the skills and knowledge to increase performance and change behavior, and has given her the expertise of working with diverse students, parents, teachers and administrators.  She has helped school implement performance standards curriculum.  Her success in supporting teachers to differentiate lessons for diverse student populations is renown.

Marjorie's travels have taken her to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America and throughout the continental United States.  She servers on the board of First Book, an organization which provides popular books for youth. 

Marjorie facilitates three of our workshops: Many Cultures, One Classroom, Bye, Bye Bias and Savvy Global Citizens.


Yahnia  is a native of Puerto Rico who has lived in Georgia since 1985.  She has extensive banking experience particularly in the retail banking sector.  She has managed several branches and received her retail banking training through Wachovia Bank's Management Training Program.  During her time at Wachovia, she worked with Corporate Marketing, Community Development and local nonprofits to grow Wachovia's prominence within the Latino community in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was also involved in the creation of marketing materials for the Latino community and Wachovia 's web page in Spanish. 

Most recently, Yahnia worked as a Commercial Relationship Manager at Regions Bank.  Her involvement in the community includes serving as Treasurer of the Hispanic Committee of Gainesville, and a member of the 2007-08 Leadership Hall class sponsored by the Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce and Junior Service League.
  
Yahnia holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Yale University.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
 

Geetanjali is our expert on India.  She has worked with call centers developing their staff in voice skills and naturalization.  She has developed and facilitated courses in Customer Service helping clients reach sales goals and objectives.  As part of our virtual team, she lives in India where she is a part of the vast economic growth and globalization associated with her country.  She has first hand information on how these changes influence the local culture and how organizations doing business in India can improve team building.

Geetanjali provides research and information regarding Indian culture.  She is our "go to" expert for expat and Indian culture specific training.


Nichole edits and assist with preparing all materials, handouts and workbooks.  She organizes and is responsible for filming participants attending the Present Now workshops.  Nichole is a senior at Northwestern University where she will receive a degree in Film production.
